# Config elastalert

i configured elastalert to send email;;i follow this configuration : [https://elastalert.readthedocs.io/en/latest/running\_elastalert.html](https://elastalert.readthedocs.io/en/latest/running_elastalert.html)
but i cant get notification in my gmail
this is the output of :python3.6 -m elastalert.elastalert --verbose --rule example\_frequency.yaml :

Hello,
Looks like an interesting product but it's actually developed by Yelp, not Elastic, so the amount of answers you get here may be limited. It's possible another user in the community here has used it though!
Just so you're aware, Elastic [does have alerting](https://www.elastic.co/what-is/elasticsearch-alerting) available which is capable of email.
