# Configuration of beats that come with elastic-agent and fleet

Hello,  
I search information about the beats configurations through elastic-agent and fleet.  
For exemple, for the filebeat agent installed with elastic-agent, how can i disable metrics or enable a path monitoring ?

In the policy assigned to that agent u can unselect logging and metrics.

If you speak about those settings

It is just for the elastic-agent, not for the beats agents installed on clients with elastic-agent.
