# Configure ELK stack with Jira server to monitor server logs

Hi all, I am new to the ELK stack and want to try the ELK solution to monitor Atlassian Jira logs.
So far I have been able to setup the ELK stack on my local system and start both the Kibana and Elasticsearch servers.
Now how do I connect it with my ongoing Jira server to get the logs transferred to Elasticsearch server and later visualize it on Kibana.
Do I need to manually take the server log files and dump it to my elasticsearch server or it is done via some connector.
A step by step guide is much appreciated as we want to evaluate the ELK stack for monitoring our logs so we can use it for our production environments.
