# Configuring APM to a non web - .NET framework 4.6 project

Hello,

I'm trying out Elastic APM and I'm trying to figure out how to configure my code to use my APM server. I didn't find much help from the documentations. I want to configure it to use my server/token I have.

Hi @dalena_nguyen, welcome here!

[This part of the documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/agent/dotnet/current/configuration-on-asp-net.html) covers exactly your question - at least I feel it does. If not let us know.

Also, in general configuring through environment variables works everywhere - all settings (including their environment variable names) are documented [here](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/agent/dotnet/current/config-reporter.html#config-server-urls).

I mistakenly read that documentation wrong. It's now hitting my APM server.
