# Confusion about licensing for Stack Monitoring

I have a Platinum subscription fo a cluster in the Elastic Cloud. I'll use this cluster to monitor many other clusters... some of them are licensed, most of them are not.
So, in order to be able to use the "Multi-Stack monitoring" feature, should all the clusters be licensed? (I mean, the source of the metrics and the destination)
It looks like so... Here's what I achieved so far:
When I click in the cluster with Basic license it gives me an error complaining about the license...
(I am only asking this here to be 100% sure, maybe I did something wrong, but it looks like both clusters should me licensed)

Yes - you are right. Each cluster being monitored will need to use a Gold (or higher) subscription.
