# Connect to the OSIsoft® PI System® using ELK stack

While studying the market of Industrial data analytics tools, I got impressed by the services provided by ELK stack and its features (X-pack), but my biggest concern is the establishment of a real-time data streaming connection between the **OSIsoft® PI System®** and elasticsearch , although other big competitors such as **Seeq** and **ThingWorx Analytics** provide a FAST, FLEXIBLE and COLLABORATIVE connection with real-time data streaming I'm still insisting on that STACK, I'll extremely appreciate your responses.

This is exactly the same as your reddit thread and all I can see are big brands strategically bolded. It smells like spam.
