Hi there,

My setup is including logstash servers, that have 3 correseponding elasticsearch servers. I am feeding them from a single server with logstash-forwarder

I have used their FQDNs and obviously I needed a wildcard certificate for all of them. However, the problem here is that my servers are **[SERVERNAME.something.domain.com](http://SERVERNAME.something.domain.com)** and this way, the wildcard certificate is not working.

My question here is - how can I connect my logstash-forwarder to all the servers, without having SSL handshake issues?

I solved this with the following solution - [https://gist.github.com/sandstrom/a92a9d384999c659d96a](https://gist.github.com/sandstrom/a92a9d384999c659d96a)
