# Control visualisation issues

I have 8.5.3 and control is messed up there as well. it has white background and light color font, hard to see anything.  
it is fixed in next version, but I am not ready to upgrade .  
It seems control viz is not good enough yet. I will wait for few more version I guess

@elasticforme Can you please send a screenshot of what your controls look like in `8.5.3`, including what browser you are using? I tried version `8.5.3` in Chrome and everything worked as expected in both light and dark mode:

New control works fine.  
old control had a bug. I went and remove that old and place new.

new control though has limit of 10 value. which I don't like. I would like to see more sometime in 100s which is not option at this time.

We added the ability to view more available options to the new controls in [version 8.7](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/148331) - hopefully that will help with your use case! The old controls are in the process of being deprecated, and so we won't be prioritizing fixes and/or features for them 🙂
