# Copy and Sync ElasticSearch Index Across Hosts

I have two hosts in the same data center with elastic search installed.

I would like to copy indexes from one host to another, have them both synced.

Is there a guide for how to do this?

Why don't you simply build a cluster out of those 2 hosts and use Elasticsearch replication feature?
