# COPY - PASTE from KIBANA without “ROW” and “COLUMN” information - 2

Hello everyone,

I have the same problem as described in the following ticket: [COPY - PASTE from KIBANA without "ROW" and "COLUMN" information](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/copy-paste-from-kibana-without-row-and-column-information/320048)

It's a real pain to export the selection we're interested in every time, when a "copy/paste" with a plain text format (like previous versions) does the trick largely.

Is there a plan to add the old functionality to make Discover easier to use?

It's not a recommended way but there is an option to switch between the old and new UIs by toggling `doc_table:legacy` configuration on Advanced Settings page.
