# Could not find or load main class Reddy

Hi Team,

I tried to elasticsearch and I see below exception. have tried to uninstall elasticsearch and tried again, retried installing java. but still, see the same error

I am stuck and couldn't move even an inch, your help is highly appreciated

**C:\Users\Ravinder Reddy Ch\Downloads\elasticsearch-7.3.0-windows-x86\_64\elasticsearch-7.3.0\bin\>elasticsearch**  
**future versions of Elasticsearch will require Java 11; your Java version from [C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0\_251\jre] does not meet this requirement**  
**Error: Could not find or load main class Reddy**

It's likely because you have a space in the path.  
Try extracting things to a directory without a space in its name.

you mean space in the java path?

I have checked with java -version and its working.  
i think its not with java path

i have tried from another folder. still see the same issue

I am unable to understand whats happening with my system. when i tried starting other software like tomcat , its working without any issues. but i see this error for only elastic.

please suggest if there any ways to fix this
