# Count the Number of words in the field Elastic search 6.2

Most of the peoples asked this question in the forum so many times, but I want the exact solution for this problem.  
_Example :_  
`"Name":"John Doe bishop"`  
So the total count in the Name field is **3**.  
What is the query to find count along with mapping for the field Name ??
