# CPU metrics by Java APM Agent

Hi guys,  
I would like to know if CPU metrics are planned to be collected by Java APM Agent.  
Right now they aren't, as explained by documentation and according to some tests I performed with Java APM Agent v 1.6.1. I had to make up for this lack using metricbeat (enabling system module) and collect cpu metric of the unix process.

You can view those by clicking on the metrics tab of the service overview. See [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/metrics.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/metrics.html)

thank you. It seems that I didn't notice that metric. I will anyway update the whole ELK stack since I can't see that metrics tab in old Kibana versions.
