# CPU utilizaiton up to 50%,any method to decrease the filebeat CPU utilization

CPU utilizaiton up to 50%,any method to decrease the filebeat CPU utilization?

if the filebeat can control the speed of reading logs ,e.g. the max\_readline is 500 ,the filebeat mostly read 500 events per second , the cpu utilizaion、 the memory used will be lower .
