# Create a drop down menu or list to display specific logs

Hi,

I receive logs from various different IPs. I want to create a dashboard where I can select the IP from drop down menu or create a list and then a time window to select which logs I want to see and from which IP.  
What should I do to create this?

Hi there, we've added functionality like this to version 6.1 of Kibana with the new [Input Control visualization type](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/13314). If you'd like to try it out before we officially release it then you can do so by downloading Kibana from the [GitHub repo](https://github.com/elastic/kibana) and building it locally.

Sorry, we don't disclose release dates in advance, but we're rapidly closing in on a 6.0 GA release and we'll immediately move onto getting 6.1 out as quickly as possible after that.
