# Create an alert based on a filter ratio TSVB

Hi, I got a dashboard with a filter ratio in it and I need to convert it into an alert, how can I do it?

Hi @hben Welcome to the community.
That's not a lot of information to go on but perhaps Have you looked at the Kibana alerting framework.
The threshold alert has a ratio alert.

You'll probably need to learn a little bit about alerting and setting it up

@hben this is something that is not yet possible but is on in our 8.x roadmap. we are looking to add alerting support to many post-aggregation metrics (the filter ratio being the most dominant request)
