# Creating Alerts

Hello,  
Is there a way I can create an alert on kibana? I am thinking of creating a simple alert that would notify by email or any other method if the event log was cleared by someone

Hi @Marcos_Felix,

Unfortunately, we do not have any alerting available directly in Kibana. [Elasticsearch does offer a commercial offering](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elastic-stack-overview/current/xpack-alerting.html) for alerting though.
