# Creating ingest pipeline

Is it possible to create an ingest pipeline without including processors ? ?  
I mean to say is the processor field a mandate ??  
or can we remove it ?  
If yes , hows it possible ?

What purpose is an ingest pipeline without processors? What would it do?
