# Creating interdependent filters without disabling them

Can I create interdependent filters without disabling them as it says "Options are based on the value of parent control. Disabled if parent is not set." I dont want to disable any filters but filters should be filtered out on the basis of other filters

Hi @sukhwinder_kumar. That is not currently possible. But I believe you will be interested in the upcoming [Hierarchical Chaining for controls feature](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/126649). While still subject to change, it should be released in Kibana 8.2.
