# Creating shield user with Java Client API

Hey,  
I'm using elasticsearch 2.4.4 and its corresponding java api in springboot. I have shield plugin installed in my elasticsearch and I'm trying to create a shield user from my java code. Is it possible to do that ?

There's no methods/helpers for this unfortunately.
