# Cross Cluster Replication - Dev Environment

Can someone tell me if it is possible to setup CCR on Elasticsearch for my application in a Dev environment - for a very limited window of time, without having to bear the expenses for the licenses of all the Platinum licenses. I essentially wanted to do some validation testing of the implementation - not real production use of any sort.
