Hi, after executing the command curator delete --older-than 3 i got the following response 2014-12-17 18:39:02,088 INFO Job starting... 2014-12-17 18:39:02,104 INFO Deleting indices... 2014-12-17 18:39:02,104 INFO Speficied indices deleted. 2014-12-17 18:39:02,104 INFO Done in 0:00:00.047000. but nothing happened to indices . I am getting the following response for the indices query green open .marvel-2014.12.16 1 1 42513 0 112.4mb 56.2mb green open .marvel-2014.12.09 1 1 84937 0 222.2mb 111.1mb green open .marvel-2014.12.17 1 1 28939 0 76.7mb 38.2mb green open .marvel-kibana 1 1 2 0 44.1kb 22kb green open .marvel-2014.12.14 1 1 125557 0 289mb 144.5mb green open .marvel-2014.12.11 1 1 101401 0 244.3mb 122.1mb green open .marvel-2014.12.12 1 1 109457 0 255.2mb 127.6mb green open .marvel-2014.12.10 1 1 93207 0 232.5mb 116.2mb green open .marvel-2014.12.15 1 1 133493 0 309.2mb 154.6mb green open livelisting 5 1 26456 0 72.6mb 36.3mb green open .marvel-2014.12.13 1 1 117511 0 275mb 137.5mb I am missing something here? Try it with the -n and -D flags and see if that provides more info. I'm presuming you're trying to prune marvel indices. Your command-line would look similar to: curator delete --older-than 3 --prefix .marvel- Do not forget the trailing hyphen on that prefix.
