Hello,
what is the difference between both?

What custom connectors? Can you provide more context?

Are you talking about these [connectors](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/es-connectors.html)?

Yes, I read about it here:

Never used connector, but it is more related to Enterprise Search cases, where you have data that is not time based and want to search on it.

Hey @leandrojmp ,
yeah interesting, I saw they have a [SQL Server Connector](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/es-connectors-ms-sql.html) but also there's a [SQL Input Integration](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/integrations/current/sql.html#:~:text=The%20SQL%20input%20package%20allows,Oracle) (sql module from metricbeat) which seems to do the same thing but like how you said they seem to serve different use cases
