# Custom HTML Plugin for Kibana 6.x

Any plans to incorporate the HTML plugin into future Kibana updates? It was there in 5.x but no longer in 6.x ... much better than Markdown widgets.

There are no current plans for that. But if interested, always feel free to log an enhancement request. This might also be a candidate for a community plugin (some more info here [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/master/development-visualize-index.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/master/development-visualize-index.html)).

Thomas, sorry for the delay in my reply - I got busy with another project and forgot to get back to you! Thank you for your time and advice - I will log an enhancement request. I found the HTML plugin way better than the Markdown widget.
