# Custom mapping types in index templates are deprecated --

I am getting ready to move to version 8 (at last)...  
Under " deprecation issues" I get `Custom mapping types in index templates are deprecated`. I have never knowing used anything except \_type: doc and have never set up any custom types.

Is there anyway to find out which templates are affected?
