# Custom module in filebeat

Hi, I am trying to create a custom module that I need for a data source that is not available. This data source exposes an API that can be used to fetch logs. Currently I am using filebeat OSS and the input plugin that I was thinking of using(httpjson) is covered in xpack so is there any other plugin that can be used for API polling that is available in OSS?

I think just the logstash http input would be in the OSS version. Nothing besides what u already mentioned in Filebeat.
