# Customize Autogenerated ID's length

Can we do some settings to customize Autogenerated ID's length? For now, it generates unique ID with 20 characters. I want to get the advantages from this unique id but in shorter form.

There is no way to customize how automatically generated ids are generated. You should generate your own ids on the client side.
