# Customize kibana discover table

hi, i want to know if it is possible to have a personalized visualization of the kibana dicover table, with colors or anything else that adds a decoration to be decided or if it is possible to represent data in a customized table to visualize the different fields

hi @kumar4,

you can customize the Discover app in two main ways:

- choose the columns you would like to see: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/discover.html#\_add\_and\_remove\_fields](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/discover.html#_add_and_remove_fields)
- use a field-formatter to change the display of the values. You can choose things like background color and text-color here. [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/managing-fields.html#\_edit\_a\_field](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/managing-fields.html#_edit_a_field)
