One workaround for modifying the source is discussed [here](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/disable-hide-management-plugin-kibana-5/72763/2). However, this stuff is constantly changing, so it's not a good foundation to build a solution on.

You can find subscription info [here](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions). I believe dashboard only mode should work with a Standard [Elastic Cloud](https://www.elastic.co/cloud/as-a-service/subscriptions) subscription as well.
