# Dashboard - field Host.hostname not found error

Hi, I'm getting error for Kibana Dashboard :

"Field host.hostname was not found

Edit in Lens editor to see more errors"

Is that metricbeat? Please query the index in Discover to see if you may find host.hostname field.

If not, double check the beat configuration. The field might be dropped or never collected by the beat.

In Discover tab i can query host.hostname field.

In this case, please capture the screen of the lens configuration.  
That is better to have screen shot of discover too.
