# Data export from Kibana

Hi, Is there any way to export the data from Kibana to excel sheet? thanks

You will be able to do it in 6.x but you need x-pack basic: [https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions)

There is a Chrome extension, ElasticSearch CSV Exporter, that can help with this. It will only export the data that has been loaded on the screen. It mostly works when I need it... It looks like it only works with Kibana 4.x
