# Data tier between two cluster

maybe you know a method (is it even possible) to merge clusters? so that from the first data center it transfers data to the second cluster as data\_cold?

so does it possible to make over reindex (shift from one ES cluster to the second one ES cluster)

You can use snapshot and restore, or a remote reindex to move data between clusters.
