i have an index called "bobGoblin" ... "bobGoblin" has a field called bobTimestamp which shows as a date "type" in the "mapping" ... when i go to make a new index pattern for the bobGoblin index ... **The indices which match this index pattern don't contain any time fields.**... which is clearly not true b/c bobTimestamp is date and i've been using this for ages. only ran into this issue yesterday when trying to update the bobGoblin index pattern ... kibana version 7.9.1

what gives!!!

Hello @bacony0atmeal

Could you record and post a har file of the problem? This way I can see which indexes match and the returned field list.
