# Date format on Logstash

I using logstash 2.1.1 and i create format indices on Output Elasticsearch with config

Before i using format "Name-Indices-YYYY-MM-dd", now i change to weekly format (above image)  
"Name-Indices-GGGG-WW"  
but i got error

What wrong with date format ??

It's much easier if you copy and paste the text, rather than forcing people to read images with small text.

However, per [the docs](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/2.1/plugins-outputs-elasticsearch.html#plugins-outputs-elasticsearch-index);

> For weekly indexes ISO 8601 format is recommended, eg. logstash-%{+xxxx.ww}.
