# Date math

Hi,

If I do a query with a date range filter with "gte": "now-1M" ([https://gist.github.com/mortenhauberg/4b04e07483135afceb68](https://gist.github.com/mortenhauberg/4b04e07483135afceb68)), then what is a month?  
30 days?  
The same date, last month - 27th of October?

Can't really find anything in the documentation about it
