# Date time format recognition

Hello, Im very new to ELK.
I inserted some documents on my index and one of the fields is date\_created.
I did not create a mapping in advance so was hopping my time format to be recognized, it ends not in this case.
Below my time format, beeing reconized as t (text)
t date\_created 2018-04-26 21:36:40.276073
How can one amend or convert it to proper format ???
