# DB Hostname is missing (unnamed)

**Elasticsearch version** : 7.1.0

**APM Server version** : 7.1.0

**APM Agent language and version** : Java - 1.x (current)

**Description of the problem including expected versus actual behavior. Please include screenshots (if relevant)**:

It is very important to show the host name during a database transaction.

Hi @edhuardotierrez, and welcome to the forum!

Good timing! We've just started discussing adding the destination address to span context: [https://github.com/elastic/apm/issues/115](https://github.com/elastic/apm/issues/115).

The idea is that agents would record the address of the database server in span context, and then you would be able to see that by clicking on the database span, bringing up the span details.
