# Deafult stop words list for languages

How can I check the default stop words list for a given language analyzer (i.e italian)?  
(I have to check in order to evaluate if it need tp be extendend with our personal terms)

[here](https://github.com/apache/lucene-solr/blob/master/lucene/core/src/java/org/apache/lucene/analysis/standard/StandardAnalyzer.java#L44) is the one for English.

[here](https://github.com/apache/lucene-solr/blob/e92a38af90d12e51390b4307ccbe0c24ac7b6b4e/lucene/analysis/common/src/resources/org/apache/lucene/analysis/el/stopwords.txt) is Greek. This url pattern should find you most languages. But not Italian like you asked for. That is [here](https://github.com/apache/lucene-solr/blob/e92a38af90d12e51390b4307ccbe0c24ac7b6b4e/lucene/analysis/common/src/resources/org/apache/lucene/analysis/snowball/italian_stop.txt).
