There is this [https://github.com/logstash-plugins/logstash-input-kafka/pull/103](https://github.com/logstash-plugins/logstash-input-kafka/pull/103)

But I don't know if this will be available soon. I am using logstash 2.2.2

The logstash team has asked if it can be ported back. Just follow that pull request thread and you will know when it happens.
