# Default username/password?

I installed everything yay!
Now the only username/password that was given to me was the kibana username/password set when I installed x-pack, but when I log in with this I cannot create new users.
How do I configure users?
Also, since passwords where generated using `bin/x-pack/setup-passwords interactive`, how do I set passwords without it (let's say when I remove it or if I get a fresh install)?

Hi,
have you tried the superuser elastic? In the previous versions, the default password is 'changeme'.
Alternative to this command is that you can create new users, change password, assign roles etc. in the kibana UI with a superuser (e.g. elastic).
