# Delay in data shiping to ELK

hi, these two cases are different. in this case, we don't define any template and due to date mismatching elasticsearch getting slow  
but in ([Template defining makes the elasticsearch slower](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/template-defining-makes-the-elasticsearch-slower/182306/5)) after template defining elasticsearch was more slower
