In our system we have rollover indices named in the pattern abc-logs-000001. We have rollover either on max\_age 1day or max\_size 5gb. Now overtime we have lot of old indices. We are already using curator for rollovers, but now want to use the same for deletion. Can someone please advise.

Thanks.

Try the [documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/client/curator/5.5/index.html), which comes with:

- [`delete_indices` action documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/client/curator/5.5/delete_indices.html)
- [`age` filter documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/client/curator/5.5/filtertype_age.html)
- [Example configurations](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/client/curator/5.5/ex_delete_indices.html)
