# Delete recently viewed views

In the upper left menu, dashboards and other things appear as recently view.

Is there a way to clear/remove this?

Hi

There is currently no easy way to do it, we plan to improve it, here's an issue for that to track:

You could delete the localStorage entry of your browser if you want to manually remove it.

It removes it locally but I guess thats better than nothing.

How do I do it?

Open your browser developer tools.

Below is an example of where you would find Local Storage in Chrome. Filter the results on `kibana.history` and delete those entries.

Found it. Not ideal and its a per browser getting I guess but.....Guess it will have to do. Thanks
