# Deleted .kibana and all visualization, dashboard and shards are gon how can I recover them?

Did you happen to see [this](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/deleting-kibana-results-in-too-many-redirects/163484) users post? Might fix your problem. It wont recover all of your visualizations and objects, but you may be able to get back to the UI (or just reinstall Kibana). If you don't have a snapshot of the indices to recover from, I'm not sure how you'll get the data back.
