Last Friday, Oracle delivered Elasticsearch for PeopleSoft. They deliver a package with release 2.3.2. I don't want to install it and would like to run Elastic Cloud instead but it is 2.3.5 ... any one knows difference between 2.3.2 and 2.3.5 ? they delivered a custom plugin in 2.3.2 will it work in 2.3.5 or higher version ? You can look at the release notes for [2.3.3](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/2.3/release-notes-2.3.3.html), [2.3.4](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/2.3/release-notes-2.3.4.html) and [2.3.5](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/2.3/release-notes-2.3.5.html). If the `plugin.descriptor` for the plugin does not say `elasticsearch.version=2.3.5`, then no. ---

@jasontedor in fact deliverd 4 plugins: 1. orcl-acl-plugins 2. orcl-autehntiation-plugin 3. orcl-crawl-plugin 4. orcl-ssl-plugin and they both have : elasticsearch.version=2.3.2 in plugin-descriptor.properties So I need to go back to them to deliver at least a 2.3.5 ? but 5.0.0 would be better no ? I don't think you will be able to install these plugins in Elastic Cloud as they, based on the names, contain functionality around security and crawling. ---
