# Difference between manage\_pipeline and manage\_ingest\_pipelines privileges?

Hi,

According to the [docs](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.4/security-privileges.htmlhttps://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.4/security-privileges.html), there are 2 privileges related to the management of ingest pipelines (manage\_pipeline and manage\_ingest\_pipelines), however, it's not clear to me what the difference is between them.
