# Difference search\_analyzer and search\_quote\_analyzer

Hi team,  
I am learning analyzer in Elasticsearch and i have little confusion what is the use of **search\_analyzer** and **search\_quote\_analyzer** i have read the documentation but i couldn't understand.  
**Case 1**

```auto
PUT my_index-000002
{
   "settings":{
     "number_of_replicas": 0, 
      "analysis":{
         "analyzer":{
            "my_analyzer":{ 
               "type":"custom",
               "tokenizer":"standard",
               "filter":[
                  "lowercase","stop"
               ]
            }
         }
      }
   },
   "mappings":{
       "properties":{
          "title": {
             "type":"text",
             "analyzer":"my_analyzer"
         }
      }
   }
}

```

**Case 2**

```auto
PUT my-index-000001
{
   "settings":{
      "analysis":{
         "analyzer":{
            "my_analyzer":{ 
               "type":"custom",
               "tokenizer":"standard",
               "filter":[
                  "lowercase"
               ]
            },
            "my_stop_analyzer":{ 
               "type":"custom",
               "tokenizer":"standard",
               "filter":[
                  "lowercase",
                  "english_stop"
               ]
            }
         },
         "filter":{
            "english_stop":{
               "type":"stop",
               "stopwords":"_english_"
            }
         }
      }
   },
   "mappings":{
       "properties":{
          "title": {
             "type":"text",
             "analyzer":"my_analyzer", 
             "search_analyzer":"my_stop_analyzer", 
             "search_quote_analyzer":"my_analyzer"

}

```

Both case are performing same.
