Hi experts,

My design is metricbeat -\> logstash -\> elasticsearch -\> kibana

Would like your adive, should i have different index for different metric set?

For isntance, performance-cpu, performance-memory,...

is htis good approach?

later in my kibana i would be using pattern performance\*. Later in this paerformance\* index, i would need to create visualisation for cpi, memory..

What would you guys sugges. If having same index for cpu, memory. how will it differentiate in the graph which i will be visualising.

Besides that, how usually it get memory value. will it fires every seconds free -m or it get from a log file?
