# Disabling auto-join for a cluster

Hi

I wonder how I can disable the automatic join to a cluster, just keeping a  
defined set of nodes within the cluster?

You can use unicast discovery and provide a list of nodes. Other nodes will  
not join.

You can also just use a different cluster name.
