Hi,

I have documents in an index, say parent, which one of the fields is an array of another type, say child.
I want to now select just a few of the fields in the nested documents(child) in Discover and save it as saved search. I want to embed this search in dashboard, so that I can see the matching nested field (child) values when I filter on fields from "parent" documents.
In Kibana, I could only select the array field but not the fields within the array/child. Any suggestions or is this a known limitation?

Thanks,
Siva

Nested fields are not supported in Kibana [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/nested-objects.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/nested-objects.html)
